I met this lovely family up a mountain, on a railway trip. They invited me to eat a picnic with them and later to join them for soup at Joan and Garricks home. I met Lynne and both sets of parents, they made me so welcome and gave me good memories.Joan was just off to China and it was just lovely to hear of her exploits there, I have been as a tourist and covered the Wall, the Yangtze and the Soldiers, but her experiences along with her husband must be truly rewarding.
