On Thursday June 28th my son, Adam, was awarded his paratroopers 'Red Beret' in the Israeli army. Adam was selected for the anti-tank company in the paratrooper brigade. This is a seperate, more elite, unit than the already carefully selected paratrooper battalions.
Adam was inducted into the army on our Thanks Giving day, November 23, 2006. I hope you can all join me in wishing him great congratulations in achieving the honor of serving in this outstanding unit.... Maybe you can also join me in in wishing that he be especially blessed in the difficult days ahead...That he be able to carefully prepare, maybe even choose, the fights in which he engages...But whenever he is in one...and there will be countless... that he be absolutely determined, and always ensure.. to win... - David
